Lockdown has been quite difficult being a 70+ and a single person household, so I often go to my "Happy Place" which is sewing and crafting.

I mostly use fabrics from my stash but have bought some new fabrics when allowed out. I usually make lots of crafts for our WI fund raising stalls but sadly we have not been able to have any over the last year. The Halloween and Christmas felt decs were made and sold to my WI friends to raise funds.
My favourite make is the knitted sprout wall hanging for my sprout mad friend. The bargello rainbow window hanging was to honour our wonderful NHS. This is now hanging in my daughters' classroom . The window Poppy to honour remembrance day at the school where she teaches. Some charity makes ... washable sanitary products for an African charity Mkazi. The hearts are for a childrens hospital charity. And of course about 200 face coverings for friends and family. Hope you like the collection of some of my makes. Sewing and crafting have saved my sanity and I'm sure for lots of other people too. Stay safe and take care.
